Project and Program Management

Having a capable and knowledgeable project manager is critical to a successful technology project.  The company will engage a project manager with the following key characteristics, in order of importance:  experience with a similar size and type of project,  applicable investment and/or business knowledge, and expertise in project management principles, tools, and processes.  While we encourage certifications, we believe that having a certification does not necessarily qualify a person as the appropriate project manager.

Business and Data Analysis

The lack of accurate and/or complete requirements is the most common single reason for project difficulties.  Because of the specialized nature of the investment industry, finding the right people to perform business and data analysis becomes paramount.  Our services in this discipline include but are not limited to the following:  elicitation and documentation of requirements, assistance and guidance in building business cases, conducting gap analysis, and business process redesign.

Software Package Services

For investment organizations, often the appropriate technology solution to meet a business need is a software package rather than custom development.  Myriad packages exist for different functions and for different asset classes.  We can provide valuable insights and experience to navigate this dynamic product space.  Our methodology uses a defined and rigorous process to research, evaluate, select, and implement software packages.
